Lauren Bedula is a Managing Director at Beacon Global Strategies and leads the firm’s National Security Technology Practice. She is a Senior Fellow at the National Security Institute at George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School and serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Foreign Policy Group. Ms. Bedula also serves on the Stimson Center’s Alfred Lee Loomis Innovation Council
Hondo Geurts
Host
The Honorable James 'Hondo' Geurts was the former Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition and the Acquisition Executive for the US Special Operations Command. Since his retirement from government service, he devotes much of his time to mentoring and coaching public and private sector teams on scaling, agility, innovation, teamwork, talent development, and servant leadership

Hannah Greene Spata is the Director of Building the Base. Hannah is an active duty Navy spouse, career coach and national security professional. She began her career in investment banking, and has spent the last six years leading teams in commercial tech. Hannah's work on the podcast is motivated by her commitment to the mission of getting the best tech into the hands of our warfighters.
